Julie Sperber is a connector, entrepreneur, and community builder. Her career spans international hospitality, small business ownership, and the nonprofit sector—always driven by a commitment to creating opportunities and bringing people together.

Since 2017, she has focused her work in the nonprofit sector, applying an entrepreneurial mindset to strategic management, economic development, and community-led initiatives. She is known for identifying opportunities, aligning resources, and building partnerships that create mutual benefit and positive outcomes.

Now with the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance, Julie is focused on strengthening the regional economy by fostering collaboration, supporting businesses, and turning big ideas into action. She is aligned with VIEA’s work in building meaningful relationships and collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, recognizing it as essential to a more inclusive and sustainable future.
