Scott Grindy is the President of the Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters and Port Managers as well as being the current Harbor Master for the San Francisco Marina Small Craft Harbor. In addition to these roles, he continues his appointment by California Governor Newsom as a member of the San Francisco Harbor Safety Committee and leads a work group called Bay Area Marina Operators (BAMO) with over 60 San Francisco Bay regional marinas participating in technical training, regional regulation updates and building comradeship for keeping the harbors/marinas safe. In 2014, Scott was awarded the Harbor Master of the Year for the State of California and continues to support many other regional maritime entities. Grindy has more than 30 years of professional and practical experience in the areas of management of personnel, major capital projects, facilities management and capital and operational budgets.
