Session 2B: EPA Clean Ports Program & Jacobs

This session pairs the EPA Clean Ports Program with a real-world implementation case study. Starting with an EPA Ports Initiative overview ($3B Clean Ports Program), delegates will learn about grantee lessons learned, zero-emission cargo handling equipment, shore power infrastructure, electric harbor craft, and island port access.

With nearly eight decades of expertise to provide clients comprehensive solutions to challenges such as climate change, water scarcity, aging infrastructure and emerging contaminants, Jacobs’ work with the Port Authority of Guam is a text book example of how to develop and implement comprehensive strategies to address emissions inventory, climate and air quality planning, zero-emission technology assessments, alternative fuel feasibility, and sustainable port operations on Guam.
