Leading with a Team Approach at the Port of Guam — As General Manager of the Jose D. Leon Guerrero Commercial Port of Guam since 2019, Respicio has embraced a team-centered leadership style. His management has resulted in enhanced operational efficiency, improved employee morale, and strategic modernizations, even amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and recovery from typhoons.

Advocacy in Youth and Community Empowerment — Respicio’s directorship of the Department of Youth Affairs (DYA) highlights his empathetic approach to youth development and rehabilitation. His initiatives have positively impacted the lives of many young individuals. His work in community affairs and school safety, under Governor Carl T.C. Gutierrez where he was also in charge of former First Lady Geri Gutierrez’s community-based programs, including their People Helping People non-profit organization.

Kennedy High School and the University of Maryland, Respicio’s journey is marked by a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and active civic participation. His involvement in the Democratic Party of Guam and various community boards manifests his dedication to contributing to society.

Family: A Journey of Love and Blending — General Manager Respicio also believes that family is the foundation of all success. He is married to Fabrienne Cruz Respicio and is the proud father to Rory J. Respicio, Jr., and his wife’s children: Bruno, and Isabella, and granddaughter Amaris, thus underlining the importance he places on family values and personal relationships.
